The result of the move request was: not moved. For whatever reason, MOS:LIFE/WP:FNAME does not apply to breeds. Jenks24 (talk) 17:13, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nis' White-Tail HighflyerNis' white-tail highflyer – Per MOS:LIFE and WP:BIRDS#Bird names and article titles, bird names should not be capitalized. Gorobay (talk) 13:30, 21 August 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. sovereign°sentinel (contribs) 07:47, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Animal breeds are consistently capitalized on Wikipedia (see for examples, Category:Pigeon breeds). MOS:LIFE does mention that plant cultivars are capitalized, but says nothing at present about animal breeds. Maybe MOS:LIFE should be clarified, or a broader consensus should be reached about whether breeds should be capitalized, but we shouldn't move just one breed article away from the de facto existing capitalization standard.
