Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --64.134.97.92 (talk) 23:01, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Breese Kneeland Company and successors and New York Locomotive Works (Rome) were significant builders of steam locomotive engines in the 19th century US and made significant unique contributions to steam technology. Both companies are referenced in Steam Locomotive builders without further exploration while other less prolific builders are.

Rename?

[edit]

It might be a good idea to rename this article Breese, Kneeland and Company to avoid confusion with Rome Locomotive Works. Please discuss. Biscuittin (talk) 09:26, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
