Vandalism
[edit]Hey I just cleaned up some major vandalism on the main page. I'm a new user though so I don't know how to go about reporting it. --Kwake20 (talk) 19:55, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- Requested protection. The frequency and amount of vandalism is becoming ridiculous. Russ is the sex (talk) 07:03, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Effectiveness of Semi-Protection Status
[edit]There has been no vandalism on the article since it was given Semi-Protection. Therefore, if vandalism continues when it is lifted, the page should be Semi-Protected again for a longer term. --Russ is the sex (talk) 16:30, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- This is true. As soon as protection status dissolved, the IP vandalism returned, almost immediately. This article need a longer period of Semi-Protection to protect this article from annoying IP vandals. 149.125.179.132 (talk) 06:23, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Missing Facts
[edit]Chris drew also does all the vocals for the band 'Eat Me While I'm Hot' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.56.81.2 (talk) 18:10, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
This page is missing facts, Chris also has an EP called Demoness, which includes Loversloveliarslie, Growinpains, Skyhighstandard, and Thepassingtime. I think he also has an EP named traitorsshootsouth, but i'm not quite sure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bzp7g (talk • contribs) 02:55, 23 April 2009 (UTC) hes name is not what they put its somethign else —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.78.98.42 (talk) 17:51, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
- They are demos. This is why they are not on the page. --Russ is the sex (talk) 19:39, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Why do you not include demos in the discography? Just curious.I think they're sort of important to this article for fans who want to know everything about this music act. People have links to these songs i am sure because they are all over youtube, so why not just include them? --Vlprz (talk) 06:26, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
Christofer drew was in an article in Rolling Stone in 2010 stating that he is a 'casual vegan' and he would eat a slice of pizza every now and again.Chris is not a vegan. On stickam he said he loves honey so he guesses that hes not a vegan. but he did say he will neever eat meat. . —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.45.19.176 (talk) 15:36, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

he also has a sun on his upper right arm and a moon on his left. below the sun is a tree. even below the tree two random lines (one thick and one thinner) i'm not sure why he has these. he has them on the other arm two in the same spot.he also has an anchor on each hand with is mom's initials on his left and his dad's initials on his right. this is to signify that he still loves his parents even though they got a divorce (which the anchors are symbolic to his parents being 'seperated', or divorced). he also has "live" on his left nuckles and "free" on his right. and lastly, he has a treble clef and bass clef above each knee. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.43.212.80 (talk) 07:31, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Never Shout Never, NeverShoutNever, NeverShoutNever!, Never Shout Never! !?
[edit]According to an interview and Warner Bros. Records, NeverShoutNever! is now Never Shout Never. I guess we should deal with the name change as was done when Panic at the Disco dropped their exclamation point. --Russ is the sex (talk) 20:10, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- on august 11th, 2009, Never Shout Never was changed to nevershoutnever! on myspace —Preceding unsigned comment added by Goofy4life (talk • contribs) August 11, 2009
- This was covered in the article. The official name is Never Shout Never but Chris changes it on his MySpace depending on his mood. --Russ is the sex (talk) 05:07, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
NeverShoutNever! in another band.
[edit]hes in another band called "eatmewhileimhot!" he screams/sings in that band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nickbitesback (talk • contribs) 22:10, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- The band is non-notable and should not be covered in the article. --Russ is the sex (talk) 13:59, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- I would say that's pretty biased. Should we deny others the knowledge because we believe it is "not notable"? If we do that, we're no better than the communists... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.32.105.6 (talk) 20:35, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- I would have deleted your comment as vandalism, but it's too funny. In case you were serious, since eatmewhileimhot! has been deemed non-notable on Wikipedia, it does not make sense to reference them in an article any further than a mention (which I will now add in the infobox under associated acts). Also in reference to your statement, if we find out that Christofer once ate a taco while on tour and that nothing out of the ordinary happened, it is obviously a non-notable event. It would even be a non-notable event if it gave him terrible diarrhea. It would only become notable if, for example, the diarrhea was so severe that it caused Christofer to cancel the tour and seek the advice of a Gastroenterologist who informs Chris that he has a serious disease that will prevent him from touring for the rest of the year. I hope you catch my drift. Welcome to Wikipedia. --Russ is the sex (talk) 02:14, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ha don't worry about that. Im just commenting on stuff to distract me from my History... But hey, some people would like to know about eatmewhileimhot! In fact, just earlier today one of my friends inquired me about eatmewhileimhot and told me Chris had ANOTHER side band. However, I have been unable to find anything about whatever he's going on about. I suppose now I know that little commies have been raiding the pages for useless stuff... GO CAPITALISM!
66.32.105.6 (talk) 03:41, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Penguinbrawler
Well, i think that only if the biography is changed to Christofer Drew Ingle, that it would be noted that he is in another band because technically, the article is called Never Shout Never, and it should mostly be about his ventures as he has taken on that title, not about Christofer himself.. does that make sense? If it doesn't i think you get my point. The article is about Christofer's occupation in Never Shout Never, not Christofer Drew Ingle, therefore it should not include any other side projects that he had been working on, because it is not necessarily an article about his life, but about his music. --Vlprz (talk) 06:25, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
Personal Life
[edit]"and has smoked cigarettes since the age of fourteen"—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.222.158.116 (talk) 18:05, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- His smoking is referred to in more than one of his songs. He also appears in a promo photo with a carton of cigarettes in his pocket, sticking out. I would say that mentioning the brand of cigarettes he smokes unnecessary, but mentioning that he smokes is relevant and necessary. Anyone care to agree or disagree? --Russ is the sex (talk) 14:03, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
A confession in one of his recent blogs, Christofer Drew admited he had been having an affair with high school student Brooke Nunham. He revealed the song "Jane Doe" was about her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.116.223.24 (talk) 17:20, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Put every tour he has been on?
[edit]I have never seen an artist page mention absolutely every tour an artist has gone on. I think we need to make the section about tours a little more general. Thoughts? --Russ is the sex (talk) 18:19, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, and possibly make an actual tour section instead of just listing bands he's played with. --Julianberosh 07:27, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Yes, please do include his tours. --Vlprz (talk) 06:25, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
he hasn't been on THAT many tours. i feel like there should be a separate list of the tours he's been on. --Niftee bay113 (talk) 05:50, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
His name?
[edit]I think that they should put that some and maybe most refer to him as Christofer Drew, not Christofer Ingle. I don't know about everyone else, even though I knew his original name I was always calling him Christofer Drew. Anyone agree/disagree? Kdflove (talk) 23:45, 22 July 2009 (UTC)kdflove.

Trivial information from MySpace Blog
[edit]Please do not turn the Bio section into a trivia section. WP:Trivia for why. --Russ is the sex (talk) 01:27, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- It's not trivia, but aspects of his personal life. His sexuality and tattoos are part of this. I'm merely expanding the article. IAmTheCoinMan (talk) 12:43, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- I have never seen detailed explanations of other band member's tattoos and sexuality on other Wikipedia articles. The only time I have seen the sexuality discussed is when someone is LGBT. Even though I think that it's wrong that heterosexual people are not labeled as such too, it is not conventional by Wikipedia standards to label someone's sexuality unless it's other than heterosexual. --Russ is the sex (talk) 13:12, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- But he is not exactly the most masculine person. So it makes sence to say that he stated that he is straight to inform. IAmTheCoinMan (talk) 22:30, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Neither is Ryan Seacrest. You will not find a reference to him being heterosexual on his article. It is unnecessary information. --Russ is the sex (talk) 15:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
- And why is sexuality 'uneccessary information'? If you think about it, a lot of ones personal life is effected by it. So why cant it be in it. IAmTheCoinMan (talk) 22:45, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- As I stated before, sexuality is only used in an article where the person is anything other than a heterosexual. Since Never Shout Never is a heterosexual, Wikipedia standards do not say that the sexuality has to be referenced. It is only necessary when a person is LGBT. Also with the Ryan Seacrest article, you can see that nobody has made a reference to his sexuality or that he is "not the most masculine person." It simply does not belong on the article. --Russ is the sex (talk) 21:26, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Absolute agree. He is soo freaeking straight that it's not even funny. People dress like him all the time and its basically what the fashion is in his genre of music. Just because he's different from you or I doesn't mean he's like a homo or anything... --Penguinbrawler66.32.105.6 (talk) 03:46, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Religious Beliefs?
[edit]hasn't it been stated that he is Christan?
On his myspace and in other videos he states that he loves Jesus. Does this mean he's a Christian? idk... Penguinbrawler (talk) 20:39, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Penguinbrawler
- Just because he loves Jesus means nothing. I could love Jesus because I think he's a cool guy and hate religion. Until he states it or it is stated in a valid source it doesn't belong mentioned in the article. --Russ is the sex (talk) 01:55, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
In an interview he talked about a song titled "Sacrilegious" on his new album that stated he used to belong to a church but got kicked out at age 16. 321Iman123 (talk) 00:46, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Christofer Drew
[edit]Besides the alias of "Never Shout Never," Christofer has adopted the alias, "Christofer Drew." I am not sure if we should reference this in the page. If we should we need to discuss how. After we come to a consensus we should edit the page with our decision. Thoughts? --Russ is the sex (talk) 18:57, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
At this point, it's irrelevant to have this page under the title of Never Shout Never. It's been said many times he has outgrown the alias, and this page should be headed under Christofer Drew Ingle. The whole controversy and 'life' of NeverShoutNever! should be a section of his biography.74.102.83.238 (talk) 04:18, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Gina.

- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. —fetch·comms 02:29, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Wait a minute, I thought he was from New Jersey. The likely hood of this is semi reliable. It was on his episode of Silent Library, where they did spell his name right with the "f" instead of "ph." Maybe he was born there or from there? That's a little bit of a typo from Missouri. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.102.83.238 (talk) 04:10, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Page move
[edit]There doesn't seem to be conclusive evidence that this article should be named NeverShoutNever! From what I see, the majority of the references do not have an ! in the name. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 18:07, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
INSTRUMENTS!!
[edit]Christofer Drew also plays the banjo, which was not included in the list of instruments he plays.. it's proven obviously by his album cover of Harmony. Also by videos of him playing it and a song called "Sweet Perfection" where you can distinctly hear music from the banjo.
--Vlprz (talk) 06:24, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
he also plays harmonica a lot. he can play the piano too, but claims to be not as experienced. he can also play the drums, but is also inexperienced. --Niftee bay113 (talk) 05:49, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Chris does not play the banjo. The instrument on the cover of "Harmony" is not really a banjo, but a banjo-guitar (or, as he calls it, "guitarjo". It has the strings and neck of a guitar and is played as a guitar, but sounds like a banjo. They are not the same thing at all, and it would not be true to say that someone who plays the banjo-guitar is a banjo player.

Eatmewhileimhot!
[edit]It seems that emwih was dubbed 'non-notable' about two years ago, and I feel that the fact that they have released an EP and an album and that they have played concerts as Eatmewhileimhot! would make them at least notable enough for a mention in this article. Can we get rid of the block on mention of emwih? This website is meant to be informative, and I don't see how keeping information about something semi-serious that Chris is a part of from this page complies with that purpose. 98.144.115.47 (talk) 05:26, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
