Article quality improvements

[edit]

I recently bought some Nepalese tea and wanted to see if Wikipedia had an article about it. It did, yet the article was somewhat difficult to read.

I tried to improve it slightly by making small typography and grammar corrections and by rewording some sentences. I also converted to American English spelling what seemed to be a mix of American English and British English spelling (as recommended for the English Wikipedia).

The article might still benefit from a review; there are sentences which appear redundant and may even read as political slogans; I personally have no intention to make changes in that area. 66.11.179.30 (talk) 23:56, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scope

[edit]

What is the scope of this article? Is this article about the general topic of tea in Nepal about a specific tea variety known as "Nepal tea"? I ask this in regards to {{Template:Teas}}. As of now, it seems the former is the case (despite the infobox that should only be used for specific tea varieties). --Cold Season (talk) 17:30, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I see that it has been proposed to merge this article with Tea production in Nepal. I support that suggestion and I believe the direction of merge should be to this article, leaving Tea production in Nepal as a redirect. --MelanieN (talk) 15:45, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This merger was proposed almost two years ago so it seems fairly uncontroversial. If there's no objections in the next couple of days, I'm just going to go ahead and do it. I am not a tea expert by any means, so if anyone who is wants to assist, please help me check the references on these articles! A Traintalk 09:23, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
