History of the Museum
[edit]Please note that there is conflicting information about the history of the museum: thus, chinaculture.org indicates that the building was opened in 1961, while the official website gives earlier dates. For the article the information from the museum's website was used, however, chinaculture's information is also official. Missing museum?
[edit]Went there today. Literally. It is either closed or something is happening bercause it's very existence was denied by the staff at the People's Museum across Tianamen and the police in the area. Malangthon (talk) 13:17, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
- There is no "People's Museum"; the National Museum is the only museum there, and I am sure it cannot have vanished over night, although it is closed on a Monday. BabelStone (talk) 23:54, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
