To merge as proposed, for context and overlap (history of the 544D expansion, for example). Klbrain (talk) 15:12, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article for proposed Amaravati - Anantapur Expressway is to be merged into this article, as the proposal is now changed to Amaravati - Guntur national highway as of Dec 2022.[1]Arjunaraoc (talk) 01:00, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Hi, actually both the highways are much different. Anantapur-Amaravati expressway is a Greenfield expressway proposed from Amaravati city to Anatapur, where 544D is an expansion of existing road. Government proposal has changed, but both the highways are not of same intent. --iMahesh (talk) 05:00, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@iMahesh, Thanks for your comment. As the proposed highway is shelved, the description about it goes under the history part of the this article, in my view. I do no think a separate article about shelved project is helpful for readers. Arjunaraoc (talk) 23:32, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
