[edit]Hi. I've protected the article because of the low grade edit war in progress. Please use the talk page to figure out who is the editor of this newspaper and let me or some other admin know when you have consensus. --regentspark (comment) 15:30, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hi @RegentsPark:. Thank you for protecting the page. I have worked extensively on this article. When I started the work, I too was caught in the same situation. However, when I searched for the subject, I found that owner is Associated Journal and not Shiva Publications. The latter one operates a website nationalherald(dot)net which lacks the original content and copies the text from other available sources. There are no sources to confirm its ownership either. It looks more of a cybersquatting case to me. However, I was able to find a credible source that talks of some conflict between the two owners related to power of attorney but the matter is sub judice. Here's the link to that resource: http://www.rediff.com/news/report/national-herald-issue-how-the-gandhis-revived-associated-journals/20151210.htm.
- Also, an important thing to note here is that the original National Herald is owned and operated by Associated Journals as it has been covered extensively by the Indian media and former President and Vice President of India launched the commemorative edition of the newspaper too, which establishes its ownership and credibility Therefore, I suggest that the section Indore Edition should be removed as it has been added by some malafide interests. National Herald (India) → National Herald – Title National Herald (India) is redundant as no other notable newspaper with name National Herald exists. National Herald itself redirects to this article already. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 06:51, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
