NBC News Radio

[edit]

This article is titled NBC Red Network, later called NBC News Network. There's a minor tangle because the infobox lists the name "NBC Radio Network" as being in use through 2004, while the article categories show the network as being disestablished in 1989.

Adding NBC News Radio to the mix extends the confusion and I doubt it belongs here. There is an NBC News Radio section in the article for NBC News. That seems to be the place for the logo that is now in this article's infobox. There is also detailed content about NBC News Radio presently in this article that should be moved.

For clarity, the image in tis article's infobox should be either the logo for the NBC Red Network — the title of the article — or for the NBC Radio Network. The date of the dissolution of the subject of this article — well, it's either 1989 or 2004, but it isn't 2014. — WFinch (talk) 22:11, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

NBC Red NetworkNBC Radio Network – For the vast majority of this network's history it was in known by its current title. This article covers the entire history of the Network, not just its color-branded period. Indeed, the current title gives an undue emphasis on a 15-year period out of a history of 60+ years. It is inappropriate to stick with obscure, irrelevant 90 year old branding that was dropped 75 years ago. The vast majority of people who listened to this network in its life span would never have heard this brand. Keeping it is just radio geek trivia. oknazevad (talk) 19:12, 4 February 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. Dekimasuよ! 19:40, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
