Mystic Chords of Memory (band) → Mystic Chords of Memory – Per WP:RMUM. I'm requesting to revert the undiscussed move. 153.230.82.24 (talk) 15:35, 12 November 2017 (UTC)

- This page was moved so that the undisambiguated title could redirect to First inauguration of Abraham Lincoln, an article which does not include that phrase, though Abraham Lincoln's first inaugural address does. It is therefore a matter of determining the primary topic of “Mystic Chords of Memory”. Gorobay (talk) 19:06, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Woops, Abraham Lincoln's first inaugural address is what I meant to re-target to. Thanks for the correction. --Prisencolin (talk) 20:09, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Support. There is no way the base name should redirect to the article on the occasion of the speech from which the quote is taken, but in which the quote does not even appear. The article on the band should refer to the source of the quotation (if indeed this is the source, which does seem likely but needs to be sourced like any other information). It's not a matter of primary topic, there is nothing to disambiguate. We are not a dictionary of quotations. Andrewa (talk) 04:52, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]A mention of the source in the articles on the band and on their self-titled album seems fair enough.
But do we even want separate articles on the address and the inauguration? The article on the inauguration is very short. The article on the address does not even link to the text in Wikisource, although the article on the inauguration does. Andrewa (talk) 04:52, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
