Mulan Joins the Army (1939 film) → Mulan Joins the Army – No other topic has this title, disambiguation is not needed; former already redirects to latter Relisted. BDD (talk) 18:36, 23 October 2013 (UTC) BOVINEBOY2008 21:01, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
- The article itself says in the lead this is one of several works with this title. In ictu oculi (talk) 04:01, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - it could only go to the title Mulan Joins the Army (
1939film), but what's the point? the article itself in the lead mentions 2 other films Hua Mulan Joins the Army (1927 film), Mulan Joins the Army (1928 film). The academic edition Mulan: Five Versions of a Classic Chinese Legend with Related Texts edited by Shiamin Kwa, Wilt L. Idema has Mulan Joins the Army (1903 film) as "classic version IV" so, in order to save everyone's conscience about not having another film article I'm turning redlink into an article.... - Done. Which leaves the Mulan Joins the Army as WP:PRIMARYTOPIC argument, but the 1939 film isn't. It's one in a long series of plays, films, etc., leading to Mulan the Disney film, which really is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC In ictu oculi (talk) 08:49, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
- I propose that we redirect Mulan Joins the Army to Hua Mulan#Adaptations, which contains a complete list of adaptations of the story by this name, and many others that bear some similarity to it. bd2412 T 17:21, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
