Mucous → Mucous (disambiguation) – This is an adjectival form for the common noun, mucus. A "mucous membrane" is a partial title match which is never referred to as a "mucous", and the remaining software sense neither has an article of its own nor a mention in any other article. I would move this out of the way to redirect the term to the clear primary topic, Mucus. bd2412 T 18:45, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't quite understand. Your reasoning above indicates that there's no need for a dab page at all, so why not just convert Mucous to a redirect (as you propose) and ask for the redirect Mucous (disambiguation) to be deleted? Deor (talk) 14:29, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, WP:DABRELATED seems to cover that: Since Mucous is not mentioned in the linked article Soulseek (and no Museekd article exists), that entry should be removed in any event. And if "Mucous membrane" is removed as a PTM, all one is left with is a dicdef, not a dab page at all. I'll support your proposed move if you really want it done, but I don't think that it's the best outcome. Deor (talk) 21:56, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
