Regarding deletion
[edit]Can this be deleted? Because when i search on Google, its this redirect page that pops up and not the original content. If possible please delete this redirect page to reduce confusion. Khunou S (talk) 17:47, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Khunou S I fail to see how nothing turning up in a search result would be better. At any rate, we don't delete content because of how Google's search engine interprets things. —C.Fred (talk) 17:51, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. Khunou S (talk) 18:07, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- Sir, I wasn't aware of which and what should be deleted. Thanks. Khunou S (talk) 18:09, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

Mount Khülio-King → Mount Khelia – WP:COMMONNAME, by far the most common name in English language sources is Mount Khelia or Mt Khelia, with Khelia King and Khulio as distant seconds and Khülio-King as an obscure variation. See also the use in WP:RS like here Fram (talk) 08:45, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- This can't be moved. The majority of the population in Noklak district called it by the name Mount Khülio-King. Since the pre-historic, it has been called by this name epitomized by the inception of European who has written in his book Kalyo Kengnyu referring to the people living around this mountain. It actually is not the people but mountain range itself. There are 29 or around 30 villages. Out of this, hand full of villages call it Khülia(eg. Thang) , Khelia'.(eg. Nokhu village) But the majority of the people has known by the name Khülio(eg. Patsho Range or block(numerous villages) , Sanglau, Pang village, Thuonoknyu block, Wui village. This has to be kept as it is. ExfactoLexander (talk) 09:21, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Any reliable sources to support your claim? I found none for "Mt Khülio-King"[1] and very few for "Mount Khülio-King"[2], none in Google News, while there are at least a few for Khelia[3]. Fram (talk) 09:43, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sir, I believe that reporters who goes to particular speaking villages will probably be reporting in that dialect. If someone asks People from Thang, he/she will respond it accordingly.(i.e. Khülia) Nokhu speakers will definitely consider Khelia.
- But Thuonoknyu and Patsho and other villages will definitely consider Mount Khülio-King. In this case I believe that Khülio will represent more of the people.
- If I am not mistaken, most of the books we find Mt Khülio-King or Khülio king. But in news papers either Khelia or Khülia which I am not sure as well.
- The wordKalyo Kengyu will be found in the book The naked Nagas, Which is intended to mean Slate house dwellers as in those time we were found living under Slate-house. But I believe Kalyo is the name of the mountain as we called Longkhiu for the slate and Khülio for the mountain.

- Move, leave the redirect which will aid the tiny number of readers using the largely unheard of Khülio-King. Abductive (reasoning) 11:56, 14 November 2024 (UTC)

- Note:Both Khülio and Khulio are pronounced same. There is no distinction. ExfactoLexander (talk) 13:43, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- People on social media mostly use Khulio rather than Khülio. But both are pronounce exactly the same. ExfactoLexander (talk) 14:10, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- The spelling of the term Kalyo Kengyu([University of Cambridge]) is most probably due to lack of written script in those days. Now we have got one in Latin script. The pronunciation of Khülio and Kalyo is not far from same. Regarding Kengyu, yu or nyu(great) is of people who speaks Khülio, Khulio or Kalyo. These shows that it has been in use or popular in early those times as well, rather than villages having same spellings or pronunciation but different meanings, that flags concern over how they translated to mean something.
