True Elevation
[edit]Is Mt Barnard truly the highest 13,000 foot or the lowest 14,000 foot peak in California? In my lifetime, Whitney's measurement has changed from 14.494 to 14,505 or plus 11 feet. A change in measurement of half that (5.5 feet) would make Mt Barnard a 14,000 foot peak.
