The convergence introduced by Mosco and that is named upon him, is referred as such in a standard way in the literature. Just 3 quick references, but the list can be much expanded:

  • Handbook of Multivalued Analysis, Volume I: Theory, Series: Mathematics and Its Applications , Vol. 419, Shouchuan Hu, Papageorgiou, N.S., Springer.
See here, using "Mosco" as a keyword to find occurrences of Mosco: [1]
  • Borwein, Jonathan M.; Fitzpatrick, Simon. Mosco convergence and the Kadec property. Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 106 (1989), no. 3,

843--851.

Thank you for providing the citation. No doubt, but references from the named person only did not document the name. So I have copied one of the references you provided to the article. Jmath666 (talk) 18:52, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
