Reviewing later. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 22:30, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Leo's surname should be used instead of his given name (MOS:SURNAME).
    • Fixed.
  • Things in the lead that are mentioned somewhere else in the prose don't need a citation.
    • Fixed.
  • "age of 8" Write out eight per MOS:NUMERAL.
    • Fixed.
  • "He rose to prominence in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U after defeating Ramin "Mr. R" Delshad to win Smash Factor 4, right after Delshad took 2nd place at Evo 2015. Leo was 14 at the time." Probably could move the age to the front and merge the two sentences.
    • Done.
  • "Get on my Level 2018" The event has it all capitalized.
    • Fixed.
  • "Banusing, Justin (26 June 2017). "Panda Global Rankings V2 (Smash Bros. Wii U) 1-10". Panda Global. Retrieved 4 March 2020." Needs archiving.
    • The Wayback archive for that page failed, so I've swapped the source for the YouTube video, also from Panda Global.
  • "Reset the bracket" should link to Double-elimination tournament.
    • Done.
  • "In addition to Evo, Leo won two other premier tournaments - Super Smash Con 2019 and 2GG: Kongo Saga - and placed second in two other premier tournaments - Shine 2019 and Mainstage 2019." Avoid using more than two dashes in a sentence.
    • Fixed.
  • His Youtube channel should be mentioned in his infobox.
    • I've added the channel link to the External links section. I've also depreciated the Twitch module. I don't think social media belongs in the infobox, but I'm happy to revisit if you can point me in the direction of a policy or MoS.
  • Couldn't find the source for his career earnings in the article.
    • I've removed it. I don't know who added it, but there's no reliable source for that kind of information (the site everyone uses isn't accurate).
  • Image has a deletion request, but that is being resolved at the Commons.
    • I will send another message to the photographer asking him to send the permission email to OTRS. At the time, I didn't know that OTRS no longer accepted forwarded permissions, so they declined the ticket when I sent a snapshot of the photographer giving permission over Twitter DM. The backlog for deletion review on Commons is currently several months though. However if it does get deleted, I have a backup image available.

That should be it. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 02:30, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Result: Delisted. Tarlby (t) (c) 05:15, 19 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This article have used a lot of unreliable sources, such as by using random Youtube videos, GameTyrant, dbltap.com, EventHubs, panda.esportsify.com? Panda Global? Upcomer, and start.gg.The article lacks a competitive record section that documents each participation in tournaments. 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 02:02, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't care what happens to this article and I'm not going to put in any effort to fix it. In 2020, several sexual misconduct scandals broke in the competitive Smash community, and after seeing how much of that community essentially went "we don't care as long as they press buttons good", I want nothing to do with Smash anymore. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 03:00, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We really just need to know if you agree with the assessment or think the issues are fixable... Sergecross73 msg me 22:15, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Delist per nom. Not only are the mentioned sources unreliable/not up to Wikipedia standards, but many are cited repeatedly too. Ping me if someone goes for it and it needs reconsideration, but there's many to replace so I dont know how fast or easy that fix would come. Sergecross73 msg me 23:49, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Just noting that this was closed prematurely and in turn reverted. Tarlby (t) (c) 00:33, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Delist per nom, and The Squirrel Conspiracy's reasons for not wanting to improve the page any further from here. Johnson524 19:31, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
