About the Spelling

[edit]

It is hereby discussed and felt by the highly educated members of the Mising Agom Kébang, the highest literary body of the Misings that the spelling of the community and the language be written as Mising and not in any other forms so as to stick to a single term and therby avoid confusions.

Please check this and verify; and then please adhere to the currently accepted spelling, i.e., Mising.

– "Mising people" and "Missing language" return more results on both google books and google scholar than the phrases with the alternative spelling. "Mising" is also the standard spelling used by both ethnologue and glottolog, and the one used in all of the twenty or so titles in the bibliography in the second link. Judging by previous posts on this talk page, it also appears to be the one preferred by the people themselves. – Uanfala (talk) 13:38, 14 November 2018 (UTC)--Relisted.Ammarpad (talk) 04:43, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding multiple issues.

[edit]

We may differ in different aspects but let's accept the fact that this page has multiple issues. Lets all clean-up and remove all the redundant information and keep only the relevant information that have verified sources. I believe we can all work together in giving it the page it needs.
