Mindless (film)Mindless – "Mindless", the former title of the article on the film, was recently turned into a disambiguation page that fails to disambiguate any articles. Per WP:DABNOT and WP:DABDIC, disambiguation pages should not offer mere dictionary definitions, nor partial title matches. --Animalparty! • Oppose - There are many possible articles about states in which humans or other animals are described as "mindless". Coma, zombie, parasitic control, etc. These could be linked from the disambiguation page, as it is plausible people could be searching for that. In fact, the word "mindless" is mentioned a couple times in the zombie article, so per WP:DABRELATED it qualifies to be in the disambiguation.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 22:18, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Per User:In ictu oculi, no need to delete Mindless now that the songs were found, but I'm still not sold that the disambig page deserves to be the main title. The songs are all highly niche, a quick search shows that the indie horror movie never came out, the 2016 short doesn't appear notable, and the Swedish heavy metal band has had a notability tag on it for some time with absolutely zero references. While the notability of this film is not huge, it's way way more than the alternatives. SnowFire (talk) 17:51, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
With only 3 page views a day for either the Estonian film Meeletu and the Swedish band, I'm not sure it makes any difference. The Biehn-unreleased indie horror has a trailer out but no DVD at Amazon. Truth is nothing here screams Primary Topic for "Mindless" does it? In ictu oculi (talk) 18:08, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nice work! I think you misread the source on the horror film though - the ARTICLE was written in 2014, but there's no indication that the film actually came out. Seems like it's in development hell. SnowFire (talk) 17:51, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well it was done quickly. Thanks for spotting Michael Biehn on Mindless (2014 film). In ictu oculi (talk) 17:52, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
