Per WP:DPT, let's look at the stats. WikiNav for October says 677 people saw the list, and we could identify 308 clicks to the proposed primary topic. That's a fair bit, but still just ~46%. There were another 61 identifiable clicks and 253 anonymized ones, so the ratio among the outgoing clicks is measurable at only ~50%. That means probably half the people who came to Miku chose this topic, and half chose something else. Should we risk creating a situation where half of the readership has to click a hatnote? Especially for a foreign term that isn't likely to be strongly associated with anything by the average English reader? There needs to be a discussion on long-term significance, too. You’re completely right about this, I suppose that we don’t move the page and instead we just put Hatsune Miku at the top as “most commonly refers to” and leave the rest of the page the same Idek mann (talk) 01:19, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
