Lebanese?

[edit]

@JJNito197: I have read the page of the book cited, which calls Naimy a Syrian. I do not see the evidence that he is Lebanese. I can see if indeed he was born in Mount Lebanon Mutasarrifate in the Ottoman Empire, then he would be ethnically Lebanese, but there is no source that supports any birthplace that I can find. Hello, @Elizium23: I will try and find another source to cite this, I think it was the fact he was born in Ottoman Syria, but this would make him still Lebanese as he lived in and died after the creation of the republic. Here is a source that mentions him being specifically Lebanese rather than Syrian when listing the members of the Pen Club.[1] Regards, JJNito197 (talk) 01:02, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Elizium23: Just added another source which specifies his origin clearer, RegardsJJNito197 (talk) 01:05, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
