The so-called Ola argentina that the article mentions is only known in Argentina. Bands like Rata Blanca, Sumo, or Virus, were not as famous as Soda Stereo or Miguel Mateos himself, and were mostly known within Argentina. In other words, the Rock en tu idioma or Rock en español movement was not, by any means, an Argentinian feat. Rather, there were bands from many Latin American countries that took part in said movement.
