Comment the proposed name fails WP:PRECISE, there being two U.S. actors with this name, one of them a porn star. As long as this is the primary topic, the "(actor)" redirect is fine, but once this is no longer the primary topic, "(actor)" is to imprecise to use, and would necessarily need to redirect to the disambiguation page. So, you'll need to add the birth year to the disambiguation. Michael Brandon (actor, born 1969) or Michael Brandon (actor born 1969) -- 67.70.32.20 (talk) 06:02, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
He appeared in plays, too. Did you see a photo of his portraying the fictional version of Jerry Springer? (Never mind, it's a non-free image that doesn't belong in Wikipedia) --George Ho (talk) 15:08, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Both have lived in California, no matter where they were born. Also, it looks more confusing and less consistent. "Actor" and "pornographic actor" are distinctive enough and unambiguous enough. In fact, it shows that "actor" is different from "pornographic actor". You want to use "non-pornographic actor", longer than "actor"? --George Ho (talk) 05:07, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. I really think that given the difficulty in disambiguation we're creating a problem for ourselves that doesn't need creating. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:18, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've recent made some changes in the personal life section and added more appropriate sources instead of the daily mail info stuff, the sources are from his personal website about his bio, which he wrote himself. Hope this will settle things straight I apologize for the misunderstanding. 174.192.29.98 (talk) 20:01, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
