Hoax reference
[edit]Point me to any evidence that the book "Seattle: Her First 100 Years" exists. The ISBN points to a different title: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Special:BookSources/0345022289 - published in the 1970s. Seattle was founded in 1851, and there is this: https://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=30561637464&cm_sp=snippet-_-srp1-_-tile22&searchurl=an%3DMurray%2BMorgan%2B%26sortby%3D3%26tn%3D%2BSkid%2BRoad.
Reference in question:
- Murray Morgan. Skid Road. Seattle: Her First 100 Years. Ballantine Books. 1951. SBN 345-02228-9-125. US$1.25. ISBN 0-345-02228-9.

- The book is Skid Road by Murray Morgan. Various editions show the subtitle as "Seattle — Her First Hundred Years" and "Seattle — Her First 125 Years". The subtitle is printed above the "Skid Row" on the cover, hence perhaps the confusion. PK-WIKI (talk) 20:52, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
