Merger proposal

[edit]

Medusa Fossae and Medusae Fossae Formation are about the same geological feature on Mars and should be merged. The two short articles represent different views on the nature and origins of the fossae, and knowing nothing about Martian geology, I am unable to reconcile them. Yes, that's a good idea. It is an important topic that needs good coverage. I would like to do the merge, but I do not know how to do it on Wiki. I do not want to lose things.Jim S````
Thanks. You obviously know enough to integrate the texts. I will be happy to copy all the text to one article and replace the old article with a redirect, then leave it to you to edit it into shape. What do you think the merged article name should be? "Medusa" or "Medusae"? And with or without the word "Formation"? Grafen (talk) 20:21, 12 December 2009 (UTC) Thanks for the quick reply. I think the word formation should be used. Then we can discuss the geology as well as the geography. Jim SJimmarsmars (talk) 21:52, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
