Problem with Provided Sources[edit]

I have noticed problem with cited sources for some information, the links are no longer valid, here are some examples: a) the resources provided for establishing definition of 'medieval period' are no longer valid. Should the link be removed ? Reference number 1 and 4 are invalid. --Tomcat 101 (talk) 09:31, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why has this page continued to exist?[edit]

The pages Ancient India, Early modern India and Modern India have been redirected to History of India. So why has this page (which is a list) continued to exist? Fowler&fowler«Talk» 14:12, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually Modern India correctly goes to History of India (1947–present). Early modern India has only ever been a redirect. Ancient India was made a redirect (after a short discussion) by Joshua Johnathan in 2013, having been a short text and lists. I'm not sure this was a good idea. This one is probably worth keeping for the discussion of the concept, different dates, and so on. Johnbod (talk) 15:24, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 15:57, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

India in the medieval period.[edit]

Medieval India refers to a long period of post-classical history of the Indian subcontinent between the "ancient period" and "modern period". It is usually regarded as running approximately from the breakup of the Gupta Empire in the 6th century CE to the start of the early modern period in 1526 with the start of the Mughal Empire, although some historians regard it as both starting and finishing later than these points. The medieval period is itself subdivided into the early medieval and late medieval eras. 2409:408A:1C86:249C:3EE4:D097:4649:DE5F (talk) 12:59, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
