  • Weak oppose My Google Scholar search indicates that "Maynard Institute for Journalism Education" is more commonly used than "Maynard Institute" on its own. The commonly used acronym including the official website (http://mije.org) is MIJE not MI. It wouldn't look right to say the Maynard Institute (MIJE)... (t · c) buidhe 05:44, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Instead of moving to "Maynard Institute", why don't we move to "Maynard Institute for Journalism Education" instead? The sources seem pretty evenly divided in calling it one of those two names and, as buidhe points out, the organization itself uses "Maynard Institute for Journalism Education" pretty significantly. I'm not seeing any sources that refer to it as the "Robert C. Maynard Institute for Journalism Education" so that full name doesn't really make sense to me.
