Please make a map

[edit]

Please make a map, the coordinates are in the article. Computerjoe's talk 16:49, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Good article nomination for Marske-by-the-Sea has failed, for the following reason:

A few things need work. The OS grid reference is not something that needs to be stated, and certainly not in the intro to the article; 'Education' is lists and not prose; and the sections that are only one sentence long should be either expanded or combined into a large section. OS references are provided in most articles. Longitudes and latitudes are also. Computerjoe's talk 16:03, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I rolled back this edit as it wasn't sourced. Computerjoe's talk 15:58, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The location of the graves is not a mystery. I walk past them nearly every day along with a lot of other people.

Population

[edit]

Can someone give me accurate figures for Marske's population? It's awkward to get as Marske is split into two wards but one ward is shared with New Marske? Computerjoe's talk 18:32, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues

[edit]

Can we remove the 'Article Issues' banner yet???

Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Marske-by-the-Sea/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

.
  1. Switch references to use one of the {{Cite}} templates
  2. The source for population figure is unclear - I would go for 2001 census figure which is not mentioned
  3. Investigate red-links to see if articles exist under different names
