Victor Smith

[edit]

Williams, Clarence G. (2003). Technology and the Dream: Reflections on the Black Experience at MIT, 1941-1999. Cambridge: MIT Press. p. 13. ISBN 9780262731577. appears to indicate that Victor Smith received a Ph. D. in chemical engineering in 1930, but it's such a fleeting reference that it could be in error. 24.151.10.165 (talk) 21:48, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Just to be clear on my meaning expressed tersely above, Marron Fort is still notable per the significant coverage in multiple, independent, reliable sources per WP:BASIC, but the text in the article may need to be adjusted if the above reference is correct. 24.151.10.165 (talk) 16:44, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
