BLPPROD
[edit]I did a quick search and found no RS for this person. I found an Amazon listing, a couple blog entries, and a few pages about someone with the same name. JbhTalk 15:01, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: The nominator has been stalking me for some weeks now, trying to get as many of my articles deleted as he can. I think it is worth pointing this out. -MacRùsgail (talk) 17:33, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
@NeilN: Would you mind giving an opinion on the reference provided. It seems to be a Czech Internet magazine. If a Czech language article is the best that can be done for a Scottish writer I have notability questions that go beyond clearing a BLPPROD. I hate to ask, normally I would take this to AfD since I could find nothing in my BEFORE but with all of this guy's accusations I want to make sure my judgement is not being clouded. Thank you. JbhTalk 18:41, 19 May 2015 (UTC) PS Maybe winning the BFA would get her by NAUTHOR?? JbhTalk 18:43, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Jbhunley: The given source, if it says Arnott won the award, is incorrect. See the official list here. --NeilN talk to me 19:17, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
British Fantasy Awards
[edit]According to Locus Magazing BFA Winners by Year she did not win an award she had a story in the the winning anthology Extended Play: The Elastic Book of Music Gary Couzens, ed. but that is not the same as winning an award herself. JbhTalk 18:53, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Jbhunley: Think she won short fiction. [1]
- Nope [2] --NeilN talk to me 19:13, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for checking. Based on the date of this articles creation [3] and the date of this [4] edit to British Fantasy Award , which seems to list the nominees for 2007 rather than the winners, my thought is that this article was created based on the incorrect information in the BFA article rather than external RS. JbhTalk 19:30, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- I do not think being nominated for a BFA meets WP:AUTHOR, especially if no published reviews of their work can be found. --NeilN talk to me 19:44, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
