I'll be reviewing this article. Sorry for the long wait. FemkeMilene (talk) 19:41, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to be quite far away from GA criteria.

  • The lead should be expanded: about twice its current size would be the minimal.
  • There are multiple citation needed tags.
  • The article uses unreliable sources such as geni_family_tree and IMDb.
  • There are problems with prose: the culture part consists of lists, missing full stop, please use sentence case in headings.
  • He was born to Antonio Segni, himself a prominent politician, and Laura Carta Caprino, who would have a total of four children. Did only has mother have children? This sentence raises the question what his mother did as a profession, and whether his father had children elsewhere.
  • who were suffering from tangentopoli, please explain
  • There is something wrong with citations 11-15, which repeat the same info over and over
  • He has criticized prominent politicians in Italy such as Berlusconi and movements within the country. While it is okay to have short paragraphs in a GA, one sentence is suboptimal. The sentence doesn't belong in legacy.
  • I'm not sure the article meets the criterion to be broad. It has very little information about his tenure as state secretary. Did he not have any opinions about agriculture or secrecy?
  • No copy violation detected by earwig.

I will be failing the article, as I don't think the above issues can be addressed within seven days. I hope my pointers are giving you a better idea of how to prepare this article for a good article nomination. If you have any more questions, please drop me a line. @Femkemilene: thank you for responding, this was the first big page I worked on and I felt a soft spot for it leading to the premature nomination. Bgrus22 (talk) 21:42, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
