A fact from Margareta Hallin appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 4 April 2016 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that soprano Margareta Hallin could have performed internationally, but decided to stay in her homeland instead?
I think if its so hard to find refs for her awards (looks like the websites were reorganized), can't we just drop the section and mention in the prose what's worth mentioning. Does it mater if she has 3 of these or 10? Her achievements matter. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:46, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Now what's new? All prizes are on the Swedish Wikipedia, with her name listed the particular year, BUT: the link(s) to what should confirm that is broken. Ask project Sweden? Look at the publisher's site if there's a search function? - Sorry, I have no time left this weekend (or would do it myself), good company. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:33, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As you say, there are dead links on these pages. So Swedish wikipedia which was a hopeful source is somewhat illusory. All we have is the fact that Swedish wikipedia has this information, and its sources are dead links. It seems to be a dead end. They sourced it to websites and press releases that have lapsed.
