Number for Spanish Governor of New Mexico

[edit]

The article had the number for Spanish Governor of New Mexico as "51th" as that is not an English ordinal, I wanted to correct it, but wanted to make sure I am correcting it properly. I looked at the other governors listed at Spanish Governor of New Mexico and found the following numbers. Note that there is no 50th.

Governor Number English ordinal
Joaquín Codallos y Rabal 46st 46th
Tomás Vélez Cachupín 47nd 47th
Francisco Antonio Marín del Valle 48rd 48th
Mateo Antonio de Mendoza Díaz 49th 49th
Manuel Portilla Urrisola 51th 51st
Tomás Vélez Cachupín 52th 52nd
Pedro Fermín de Mendinueta 53th 53rd
Francisco Trevre
Juan Bautista de Anza 55th 55th

I changed Manuel de Portillo y Urrisola to "51st", but I do not know if that is correct. I hope that someone who knows more history than I can make sure I am right. Thank you, SchreiberBike talk 03:51, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
