Restructure and edit
[edit]I am a newbie, and this came up as a suggested edit. So I just want to explain my changes in case there are any problems.
I found the flow of the page a bit disjointed, and a few bits repeated themselves. There also wasn't a clear lead section. So I ended up changing the sections around a bit.
- I mostly kept the same wording but moved them to different places. But I did reword a the section that became the lead (part of what was already in the lead, and partly from the 'physical phenomena' section.
- There were a few bits that I didn't understand the meaning of, so I left them (the 'cognate of Mang chung' part in particular).
- I moved the lang-zh template with the Chinese characters up to the top sentence. I wasn't sure if the Japanese and Korean names should go in the same spot. So I left that at the bottom of the lead paragraph.
- I moved the 'history and origin' section to the top of the body because that felt like a better start to the body section. I added in a section from the original lead section here, because it seemed related.
- I wasn't sure what to do with the 'physical phenomena' section - I largely pillaged this section to add to the lead, so it is now quite small and probably not worth a whole section for itself.
References
- I did not add any references, and most of the parts I moved around and reworded were unreferenced.
- There was one reference in the lead section, and it was at the beginning of a sentence, that started "The ninth solar term, known as 'REF' Mangzhong..." so I put it at the end of that sentence. BUT I didn't check what the reference said, because my browser warned me about it not being a safe link. What should I do in this situation?
