Further details on functionality that works under Windows (on non-Apple H/W) versus Boot Camp (on Apple H/W)

[edit]

As far as I have been able to tell only Left+Right Click + Vertical Scrolling works under Win32 non-Apple whereas Horizontal Scrolling and perhaps other gestures work under Boot Camp. Anyone like to comment and put this in the article. (For the nay-sayers/editors here: this is relevant to readers of the article whether the hack is legal or not and does not constitute general unrelated comment on the talk page - so potential deleter's of my comment here will be met with my venom - be warned!)

I have online references to some of this above but the answers are not entirely clear so I would like to see both links and some third party users' results to clarify which links and info I should put in the article (even though the latter cannot be referenced in the article itself. ;-)) 120.156.89.67 (talk) 11:46, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thing is if Horizontal Scrolling can be made to work under Win32 on non-Apple H/W the mouse would be useful and interesting on this platform and I would like to see this referenced information go into the article. (Again in keeping with Wikipedia article & talk page rules and my own venom!)120.156.89.67 (talk) 11:52, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone add charging information

[edit]

There doesn't seem to be any content explaining how the mouse is powered (other than AA batteries). Does it use rechargable batteries? Does it come with a charger? That info would be a useful addition to the article. — SimonEast (talk) 11:22, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mine came with alkaline AA's.129.97.9.205 (talk) 13:46, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mouse lagging issues

[edit]

As I am affected by this issue, started some googling, and found lots of user reports of this mouse having lag issues with Macbook Pros and Mac Pros, most probably caused by Bluetooth signal problems or input event queue filling up due to resources getting allocated to handle disk I/O load. While my research is not really enough to cover this issue, I'd suggest having this added to the page, possibly noting the existence of such issue, noting if any OS update fixes it, or if anyone had found any solutions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.74.61.227 (talk) 09:27, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Magic Mouse. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

2024 Refresh

[edit]

There's a paragraph that mentions a 2024 refresh but it isn't listed as a section in the article proper. 45.19.52.125 (talk) 15:56, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
