Why redirect to Tri Alpha energy?

[edit]

From its website, MSNW LLC develops technology aimed at space propulsion and nuclear fusion, and has licensed some of its fusion technology to Helion Energy. Tri Alpha Energy (TAE) appears to be working in fusion and for all I know could be related to MSNW, but I can't find any reference to such a relationship either on the current version of TAE's page or on MSNW's website. From its history, the TAE page once had a brief reference to "MSNW/Helion" as a rival of TAE (removed some time in 2014). Even if TAE and MSNW were actually branches of the same company, the TAE page doesn't even try to cover space propulsion, which is the first area mentioned on MSNW's website. All in all I don't see the sense in this redirect.

I think the best course of action would be to replace this redirect with a stub (or better :) ) about MSNW, preferably by someone who knows more about the company than I do! It would be worth including a link to the Helion page, and maybe TAE if a citation can be found.

In other news, does anyone know if it's a coincidence that this Redmond, Wyoming-based company has such a similar name to a service provided by another, more well-known, Redmond, Wyoming-based company?

I've change the redirect to Helion Energy, as that page has recently been updated to include info on MSNW. Still curious about the name though. Pastychomper (talk) 09:10, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
