Adding the genre "pop metal" to this album?
[edit]Hey!
just wanting to know if I can add the genre "pop metal" to this album?
Source here: [1]https://ew.com/article/1992/06/05/lynch-mob/
Now the source here calls it "commercial metal" However, when this piece was written in 1992, it was interchangeable with the term 'pop metal'. As you can see here at the following sources:

- Pop stands for popular. i.e. music that is popular in the mainstream. Pop metal = mainstream popular metal.
- Commercial music is a type of music that is created, performed, and marketed to the public. [4]https://www.musicindustryhowto.com/what-is-commercial-music/ AgentKozak (talk) 19:33, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
