I attended a book event at which Luis Alberto Urrera spoke about his father's death. His father Alberto Urrera Murray was a former Mexican policeman who had legitimate savings. When Luis was in college his father decided to withdraw his savings in cash to spend on his tuition. His car got stopped by other police in a different town on the way back who ordered him to give it to them. When Alberto resisted the other police killed him.RichardBond (talk) 01:22, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
