Notes

[edit]
  • Added college basketball coaches in the US due to there being no Jarvis coaches cat and added Yale alumni cat.
  • In the lead should there be a comma after Lewis?  Done
    • Actually, I don't think noting that there was sometimes misspelling is that important for the lead - I removed that part.
  • Shouldn't we include the womens basketball championships in the infobox?
  • And the Alcorn and Albama baseball also since the football SIAC is included.  Done
    • Added.
  • unlink Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in later life. Its already linked in the body.  Done
    • Delinked.
  • What's the Lewis Crews Classic?  Done
  • Where are the Javier records from in the record table?  Done
    • Jarvis Christian? Here - should I add it in as a ref?
      • There's already a ref at the end of the table so yes add ref 2 also.
        • Added.
  • Do you think we should say something about all three of those schools being historically black? Idk  Done
    • Eh, I don't think its needed, but I can add it if you want.

That's all I think. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 00:05, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • "the women's basketball team to two championships (1951 and 1952) and the baseball team to a South Central Athletic Conference (SCAC) crown in 1953." Having SCAC on just the baseball part makes it sound like the basketball titles weren't SCAC. Were they? WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 12:11, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • @WikiOriginal-9: I would assume the basketball titles were SCAC, as the men's team at least were in the SCAC and I don't think I've seen an instance were the men were one conference and women the other, so I changed the wording to and led the women's basketball team to two South Central Athletic Conference (SCAC) championships (1951 and 1952) and the baseball team to a SCAC title in 1953 — does that work?
