Lost Son (disambiguation) → The Lost Son – The Lost Son redirected to Lost Son (disambiguation) until August 22, 2010, when it was converted into a separate dab page. There are only four entries (the parable, the 1999 film, the 2004 TV episode and the 2007 novel) shared and duplicated between the two dab pages which should be merged. The dab page main header may also be Lost Son, depending upon consensus, but there does not appear to be an obvious WP:PRIMARYTOPIC since the common name for the parable is The Prodigal Son, rather than The Lost Son. Question why not just delete the Lost Son (I just put a PROD on it) and delete the pointless The Lost Son dab ; and simply list the film on the existing dab page? In ictu oculi (talk) 21:15, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is a mess. To speed up the proceedings, I WP:BOLDLY;
- Moved Lost Son → Lost Son (novel), without prejudice on PROD. There's no way that this unreferenced stub about an obscure 2007 novel is the primary topic.
- Moved Lost Son (disambiguation) → Lost Son
- Merged The Lost Son into Lost Son.
Now, a separate RM could be filled up to determine if Parable of the Prodigal Son is actually the WP:PTOPIC for "Lost Son", but at least this gives us a clean slate to begin with. No such user (talk) 14:44, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
