Notability?
[edit]This article needs to assert the school's notability. Look to WP:SCHOOL for proposed guidelines. --EvaGears 00:27, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Most of the neighboring towns in New Hampshire used to be part of Londonderry at some point. Including Manchester, the largest city in New Hampshire (Population Wise). On a national scale, yes it is insignificant. But that is not the case when you look at it regarding to the state of New Hampshire. VentusIgnis 00:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- What a fool!! I forgot about the "notable" colorgaurd!!!! "Lancer Marching Band and Colorguard, which is the largest marching band in all of New England." If Londonderry High School wasn't notable, would it's band be going to China to perform at the 2008 Olympics? More sources needed though. VentusIgnis 00:48, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- You might want to note that the notability comment was made nearly six months ago, based on this version of the article... -Bbik 03:19, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Suggested improvements
[edit]Some refs required. Good start but short ... more topics. Pics are good. Alumni will help with notability. Welcome Victuallers 14:36, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:LHS Seal.png
[edit]Image:LHS Seal.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

PVC Pirates
[edit]The section on the PVC pirates has gotten long enough that it's WP:UNDUE. It should be only a sentence or two. Quiz bowl and math team could probably also use some slimming. Sdkb (talk) 09:11, 16 November 2019 (UTC)
Should sexting scandal be included?
[edit]Looking through the archives of news coverage of the high school, a lot of it is about the 2010 sexting scandal in which a teacher was fired.[1][2] I'm on the fence, though, about whether a mention of it is warranted in the history section or whether it would violate WP:NOTNEWS. It seems like the sort of thing that's more newsy in a sensationalistic way than of enduring encyclopedic importance. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 16:57, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
