I would like to enter Ouvrages_du_Libron into this page, but not sure where it would best fit. You will say that this is not a lock, true perhaps, but it does deserve to be here, in my humble opinion. GloverEpp (talk) 20:07, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that Ouvrages du Libron is a fascinating feature on the canal but, you guessed right, it's not a lock - even its own article says so - & doesn't have a lock-number. However all is not lost - I have for some time been meaning to create Structures on the Canal du Midi to complement Locks on the Canal du Midi. It would follow the same basic tabular structure and would list all the other wonderful feats of engineering on the waterway - aqueducts, feeders, significant buildings - in which the Libron "pontoon aqueduct" would naturally feature. I'm sure I started a draft once but I can't seem to find it. Perhaps you'd like to give it a bash once you're done with your sterling work on Ouvrages du Libron? I'm going to leave a note over there too as I have access to resources that will help you.
