Beware of confused Western media reports

[edit]

Some Western media outlets such as Der Spiegel erroneously report Liu Han's wealth at $650 million in 2013, which seems to originate from http://www.hurun.net/en/Entrepreneur.aspx?nid=589 on the Hurun Report website. However, the "Liu Han" listed on that page is clearly not the same Liu Han, with a different age, birth place, and company. The Chinese version of the same entry http://www.hurun.net/CN/Entrepreneur.aspx?nid=589 actually shows Liu Shaoxi (刘绍喜), chairman of Yihua Timber. Hurun apparently made a mistake on its website, which gets picked up by some careless reporters. -Zanhe (talk) 05:25, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
