These lists are works in progress. I am proceeding chronologically, but I doubt I will finish them. The lists are linked to a succession box in each person's article. As I progress I will add a succession box and a list entry for each person. Some people on the cover of Time do not have articles - those people will be apparent from the red links in the lists. As articles are created for these people, succession boxes should also be added to that article.
I have stopped adding succession boxes in each person's article, and am just putting a link to the list in the See Also section (or creating that section if none exists). The succession boxes were getting clunky, aren't really intended for a completely random succession such as a magazine cover, and were getting deleted from some articles (eg. apparently it is a policy not to put them in articles about actors).--Iacobus (talk) 05:39, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any objection if I (slowly and gradually) start changing the date formats of the lists to month day instead of day month? That is, January 1 instead of 1 Jan. or 1 January. The magazine is US based and by MOS:DATETIES, they should be month day. I will post pointers to this page on a few of the related lists. Thanks and if anyone would like to work on the project with me, make a note below and we can decide who does what. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 05:59, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
