Fair use rationale for Image:George Michael-Listen Without Prejudice, Vol. 1 (album cover).jpg
[edit]Image:George Michael-Listen Without Prejudice, Vol. 1 (album cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:56, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Incorrect song trivia
[edit]"George Michael's cover of "They Won't Go When I Go" ...was recorded live at the Nelson Mandela Birthday Tribute in early 1988, but all crowd noise was removed, and vocal overdubs were added to the final mix in post-production"
He didn't perform this song at the Nelson Mandela tribute: see http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Nelson_Mandela_70th_Birthday_Tribute — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.75.37.250 (talk) 10:24, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Please avoid opinion and speculation
[edit]Please keep the article encyclopedic, sticking to facts, not unverifiable opinion or speculation. Guessing at the reasons why Vol. 2 was scrapped is inappropriate for Wikipedia, as is the characterization of sales as "disappointing" (except where others have said so). WP:BLP forbids saying things about living people that might not be true...so although George Michael wanting to be taken more seriously as an artist is plausible, it needs to be cited if it's going to be included. —mjb (talk) 14:18, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
Blue-eyed Soul
[edit]sock strikeI'm trying to add that the genre of this album is Soul music. Unfortunately Im being denied from adding this because some wise guy (User:Kellymoat) thinks otherwise. I also give a source from Rolling Stone magazine here http://www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/listen-without-prejudice-vol-1-19901004 which states that ( he (George Michael) fashions just the kind of bold pop with rock and soul overtones that Listen Without Prejudice aims for. In case if you are confused blue-eyed soul genre is a soul music performed by white people. So logically this is a blue-eyed soul album. Moreover, I will also add that They Won't Go When I Go is a soul song but the wise guy still needs a source to confirm this info. So anybody else thinks this is soul album?? I want to establish a general consensus that this is a soul album 96.9.139.48 (talk) 18:32, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
