Update needed

The first paragraph says "There are over 41,638 known variable stars (2008)". These figures were old already in 2008 and badly needs to be updated. In that process there also is needed a consideration about which stars a list like this should contain. Deryni (talk) 09:04, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
