that this article merge with List of rock instrumentals. this article was just split off from that article because it was felt by the only folks editing that article that it was getting too long and that there was too much detail for a survey article and it was best to split it off. Which is what happened. I am very much NOT inclined to merge it back in. Carptrash (talk) 22:21, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I started the chart (list) at the Instrumental rock article and then the only other editor who seemed to be working it thought that it was too much detail for a general topic such as this, so I pulled the chart I had started and began the List of rock instrumentals article. Yes there is over lap, but I like the chart approach and it is continuing to grow. Carptrash (talk) 05:31, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I had not seem List of rock instrumentals yet. Yes there is a lot of overlap and since that is the earlier, more established article I'll think about taking the information (chartings) from the list here and just including them on the list there, just not in chart form. Maybe it is already already there? Carptrash (talk) 05:36, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Carptrash: just checking if you're still in the mood? There see to be no objections to the merge, which could be done simply ... or not so simply ... I agree that your shorted tables are worth keeping; perhaps they could sit at the top as a summary of a notable subset. Klbrain (talk) 16:25, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
