Negima!: Magister Negi Magi

[edit]

I have noticed this show is not on the list although they started showing it on Animax in South Africa in December 2007. Do they show it on Animax in other countries? If so this show should be added to the list.

Proposal

[edit]

The following would be insanely difficult to do, but very helpful: The anime television channel Animax has aired sixty million anime series across its feeds around the world, but the lineup is different for every country. Animax Asia has aired series that Animax Latin America can't for licensing reason (for example, some series are aired by other cahnnels, and other simply aren't licensed yet for that region). Likewise, some Animax feeds air series that weren't even aired on the original feed (Japan). For this reason, I propose to do the following, it's VERY difficult to completely do but it'll be rewarding when done: In the Spanish Wikipedia version of this article, the list indicates in which regions every series is shown by Animax. That article is still on an early state, but its style can be finely adapted to this article.

By doing that, we can avoid any possible confussions. The current version of the article generalizes everything (saying that ALL of those series are equally broadcast by ALL the Animax feeds). For those who are too lazy to watch the link I have shown, here is a materialized portion of the proposal:

Series Asia Latin America Germany Iberian Penninsula East Europe
.hack//Legend of the Twilight Yes Yes Yes No No
.hack//SIGN Yes Yes Yes No No
A-Kuei and Gatchinpo Yes Yes Yes No Yes
Alien 9 Yes Yes Yes No No
Angel Links Yes Yes Yes No Yes
Angel Sanctuary Yes Yes Yes No No
Area 88 Yes Yes Yes No No
Arc the Lad Yes Yes Yes No Yes
Arjuna Yes Yes Yes No Yes
Tsubasa Chronicles Yes No No No No

What do you say? I repeat, it's difficult to update the entire list, but it's very helpful.--Twicemost (talk) 04:30, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, looks like it has all died down since then (and the current article merely sorts the anime series aired by region). Because of things like this, I have to say that I'm glad I'm not (at least in registered form) a member of Wikipedia anymore. --186.93.18.142 (talk) 16:39, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Split discussion

[edit]

I feel it's unnecessary to have a list of shows aired by many regional versions of Animax in one place. Some shows aired on Animax in Japan may not air on the version for other countries because of rights reason. So, this page should remain for the shows aired by Animax in Japan only, and the lists of those aired by other versions of Animax must move to new, separate pages. Sponge Bob?

[edit]

Just wondering, is that for real or a troll put it there? If it was a troll, please, remove it.--181.94.190.101 (talk) 03:23, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Needs clean up

[edit]

Outdated, with almost no citations to verify ANYTHING on this page. There's also no need to list programming from Animax's Asian, Korean, and international branches in the first place; especially now that they have been either sold off or shuttered.
