Student papers
[edit]Should this list include student newspapers such as the Oregon Daily Emerald? --Tesscass (talk) 20:09, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- I think so, though that particular paper is exceptional in that it isn't a traditional "student newspaper". But, to answer the question, student papers ought to be separated in some way, either by section, or by a table which gives the type of paper. Taking that further wouldn't be a bad thing either:
name type schedule format area circulation Albany Democrat-Herald commercial daily broadsheet Albany ? Ashland Daily Tidings commercial Mon-Sat broadsheet Astoria 3374 Oregon Daily Emerald independent, student Mon-Fri broadsheet U of O ? ... ... ... ... ... ...
- Is that too much? —EncMstr (talk) 20:32, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Makes sense to me. Thanks. --Tesscass (talk) 22:33, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Salem News Inclusion
[edit]To whom it may concern,
I wanted to request if the newspaper Salem New, of Salem Oregon could be added to this list. It is listed with this reference http://www.usnpl.com/ornews.php. I have been reading there stories for a while and love them. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.77.158.194 (talk) 22:38, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

Template thing
[edit]Shouldn't that horrid unwieldy template thing go under "See also" instead of external links since it doesn't really look like a template? I'm open to other suggestions. Valfontis (talk) 19:30, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
