Is Mount Dixon in Australia?

[edit]

The page for Mount Dixon (listed at #23) says the mountain is on Heard Island, Australia. If so, is it one of New Zealand's highest peaks? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Goingstuckey (talkcontribs) 18:58, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Different place, same name. Mind you, the only Mount Dixon I've found in NZ is only 1500 metres high (north of the upper Hurunui valley)... not sure where the source for the other one is from... Grutness...wha? 21:07, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Found the other one. Yup, the 23rd highest mountain in NZ is a Mount Dixon. Grutness...wha? 21:17, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
