[edit]This list is based on Martin's 1947 History, and so names after that date have been added. I suspect that the appointment of Mr. Elam may have been later than 1948, from memory;and that after July 1947 Mr Jeffrey was appointed for a second term as headmaster until at least 1950 and perhaps until his death in 1952. I seem to recall that Mr. Jeffrey himself renamed School House as Jeffreys, and whether acting or full headmaster, during this period (1948-50) revived the School Song, of which I think the music was composed by the singing/music teacher. And Mr. Jeffrey purchased an Adams fireplace and had it installed in the Dining Hall- having myself been a CRGS pupil from 1941 to 1950.125.239.109.62 (talk) 22:38, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
