This way, team roster information is kept official and up-to-date.Dknights411 18:32, August 2, 2005 (UTC)

Divison

[edit]

Aren't we missing the SouthEast division here?

Nationalities

[edit]

I don’t know enough about the NBA to know the background on these, but maybe someone who cares more can figure out what actual leagues or teams the foreign players came from. For all the American players, it lists their colleges, but for the foreign players, it usually just reiterates their nationality, which their flags already indicate. I’d rather know that Pau Gasol and Jose Calderon played in the ACB, or that Nenê Hilario played for Vasco. —Wiki Wikardo

Flags

[edit]

Why do players from the UK have their regional flag, while players from the US/Canada only have their national flag? If a player from England can have England's flag instead of the UK flag, why can't a player from California have California's flag instead of the US flag? TJ Spyke 04:37, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To answer your question about the use of state flags, we are notifying the COUNTRY that the person is from, not the state, so the American Flag is used since the country is in fact "The United States of America". So as far as America is concerned, this is really a non issue. As for the British side of the aguement however, it's seems to be a but more complicated than that since many people consider England, Scotland and Wales to be seperate countries, AS WELL AS being a part of the "United Kingdom". To be honest I don't really know nearly enough about this delima to give an educated opinion, but I personally woudln't mind if it's the Union Jack or not for players of English descent. England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland have separate basketball organizations (a la USA Basketball) and national teams so it's proper for them to have separate flags. --Howard the Duck 08:04, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers

[edit]

On each team's individual roster pages, it updates new numbers worn, but on this league roster site, it doesn't.-DANO- (talk) 18:24, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On the "minirosters", they are updated too.-DANO- (talk) 18:42, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Updating

[edit]

How come when an edit is made and saved, it isn't what you see immediately after?-DANO- (talk) 21:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Slow

[edit]

Why is this one particular page (the article) so slow to load up?-DANO- (talk) 21:36, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

STILL SO SLOW!!!!!!!!!-DANO- (talk) 19:52, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ERROR ON SITE

[edit]

Why is Indiana here twice?-DANO- (talk) 18:22, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jazz roster

[edit]

Someone reinstate it.-DANO- (talk) 23:11, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Still not there, except for the link to it.-DANO- (talk) 19:28, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PROBLEMS

[edit]

Now, the Blazers site is gone.-DANO- (talk) 18:21, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NOW OKLAHOMA CITY TOO!!!!!!!!!-DANO- (talk) 04:36, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like there is a problem with too many templates being used on the same page. Maybe it makes sense to break this page into two pages, one for each conference. --Esprqii (talk) 15:58, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, some moron has put in his name for Kobe Bryant. Someone with greater technical ability than I needs to fix this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.230.217.247 (talk) 22:44, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

LeBron

[edit]

LeBron James is listed erroneously on the New York Knicks roster. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.221.218.86 (talk) 16:28, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lebron James is listed as two separate entities; one in the Miami Heat roster, and another in the Golden State Warriors roster, as of July 19, 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.179.93.18 (talk) 18:08, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems on the site

[edit]

First, can we set a proper Utah Jazz template? Whenever the right one is there, it doesn't show up. Also, let's do something about this site's slowness. I always have trouble loading it up.-DANO- (talk) 20:22, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Utah Jazz

[edit]

Can we get a proper template for that team's roster to permanently show up?-DANO- (talk) 19:03, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Something is wrong here

[edit]

Now Portland's roster is gone, plus Utah's. This should be fixed.-DANO- (talk) 23:24, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Kungamatata, 19 July 2011

[edit]

I would like you to add the following sentences under the heading "Eastern Conference": 'There a total of 15 teams in the Eastern Conference. The current leading team of the Eastern Conference are the Miami Heat.' The following sentences should be added because I think it would be great information for the article and for the people viewing it. I have added the following sentences in the article "List of Western Conference teams" only in a different way. The way it's different by these sentences is that it says Western instead of Eastern and that the leading team for that conference are the Dallas Mavericks.
